Meet the Ingredients
Blanched Almond Flour
One of the main ingredients we use is blanched almond flour. We carefully pick sources that produce fine granules to deliver the softest texture. We use blanched specifically to avoid lectins that are found in the husk of the almond, providing less digestive inflammation.
Organic Eggs
Fun fact: Organic eggs offer superior nutrition, containing up to three times more omega-3 fatty acids, 40% more vitamin A, and twice the vitamin E compared to conventional eggs. We use organic eggs in all of our baked goods.
Organic Pure Maple Syrup
Did you know that organic pure maple syrup is home to 20 types of antioxidants? It also has a lower glycemic index than table sugar, making it a choice sweetener in our bakery.
A2- Milk, A2- Yogurt and Grass-fed Butter
A2 type of beta-casein protein found in A2 dairy products is often easier to digest and less likely to cause inflammatory gastrointestinal symptoms. We chose to use only A2 milk and yogurt to support our effort toward a guilt-free snack.
And More!
All other ingredients that we use follow the same philosophies as the core ones! If you’d like to inquire about specific baked goods and their contents, please use our contact form to learn more.
Tapioca Flour
Tapioca flour gives us that super soft, moist texture while binding the ingredients together. Some health benefits of tapioca include trace amounts of iron and calcium, which aid in blood oxygenation and bone health.
Raw Honey
Honey, I’m home! The wonderful flavor of raw, unfiltered honey gives our baked goods a wonderful flavor profile and natural sweetness.
Allulose
This rare sweetener is one of our superstars. An alternative to natural sugar, allulose gives us the sweetness without the added calories. It is a great source of prebiotics, helping support gut health.
Vanilla Bean Paste
Wonderfully aromatic, we use vanilla bean paste to flavor our baked products. No imitations, no artificial flavors, just how nature intended.
Our “No!” List
We also say “no” to many ingredients in our recipes, no matter the cost. The list of inflammatory ingredients that we avoid is long, but here are some to name a few: artificial flavors and dyes, seed oils, gluten products, artificial sweeteners like sucralose, conventional dairy, high fructose corn syrup, MSG, etc. The list goes on, but rest assured that we take great care in everything that we make and everything that goes in it.
